45 Shore D, Castable High Performance Polyurethane Elastomer

TC-9445 was previously sold as TC-995. This is the same material, with no changes to formulation or performance. The name has been updated to reflect its Shore D hardness designation (45D).
TC-9445 is a two-component urethane casting compound that is specifically formulated for high abrasion and impact resistance. It is recommended for use in the casting of highly wear-resistant parts and linings. This product is a safe, easy-to-handle, room temperature mixing and curing system that does not contain TDI, MDI, MDA, or MOCA. TC-9445 is relatively insensitive to typical environmental moisture and will make good void-free parts. Because of this product's exceptional toughness and abrasion resistance, castings made with TC-9445 are particularly suitable for mining and mineral process industries.

HELPFUL NOTES:
Color Variations: The color of the base material may vary slightly from batch to batch due to raw ingredients. Exposing the material to various conditions such as heat and UV light will alter the color of the cured system. Color stability is not guaranteed. This product can be pigmented, but you may see more color shift when using lighter pigments.
UV Resistance: This product is not classified as UV resistant. BJB offers an additive called UV-100, a UV inhibitor and anti-oxidant blend that will help slow down the effects of UV degradation and color change. The level of effectivness varies from product to product.
