WC-786

WC-786 produces a high impact, rigid, 80 Shore D material that is commonly used to make clear or tinted castings of all kinds.  When used at room temperature castings 1/8" thick or larger can be readily cast.  Castings that are less than 1/8" thick generally require pre-warming of materials, molds, and mild post-cure.  Easy 1:1 by volume mix ratio for machine casting.

Important Notes:

-The 15 minutes work time is the standard in-stock product.  5, 30, 60, 90, 180 and 240 minute work times may take 1-3 days to ship.

-Demold time is totally dependent on work time and the concentrated mass of the cast part.  Thin walled parts cast with longer work time systems may not cure well without heat.  Larger mass parts will cure faster and more complete at room temperature compared to thinner parts.  Please contact BJB Tech Sales for help with selecting the correct system for your application.

-Silicone Molds: Platinum based silicones are recommended for molds.  Tin based silicones may potentially cause cure inhibition. For more info, contact our Tech Dept.
