TC-267 FR

TC-267 FR is a soft, 3 lb. water blown flexible foam with fire retardant properties. This product was developed due to the ongoing demand for fire retardant foams in the industries of Movie Special Effects, Theme Parks, Haunted Houses, and Theatrical Performance. Firmness of the foam can be controlled by mold temperature and the amount loaded in the mold. BJB pigments may be added to the “B” side for developing a wide range of colors.   TC-267 FR can be hand mixed, machine dispensed, or mixed with a Jiffy Mixer®.

NOTE: Density is based off of free-rise, unrestricted samples. Typical castings in a closed mold with back pressure will increase density and reduce expansion rate. This will often require up to 1.5 to 2.5 times more foam than theoretical calculated amount of foam for a given volume and mold shape/goemetry. Also temperature of liquid foam, relative humidity, and mixing technique (hand stirred vs jiffy mix with a drill) will also affect expansion rate of foam.
