SC-22 Softening Agent

SC-22 was developed as a softening agent for use with many of BJB's polyurethane elastomers.  This additive allows the end user to adjust the hardness and elongation properties to their desired characteristic. Typically, loadings of 25%-100% parts by weight are added to the A&B polyurethane system during the mixing process.  Higher levels of SC-22 can significantly reduce the cured physical properties and increase the cure time of the polyurethane. Higher levels of surface tack may also occur with increasing amounts of SC-22. See Data Sheet for usage and percentages in adding to polyurethane systems.  

Note:  SC-22 is not recommended for BJB's flexible Water Clear products.  May cause yellowing and decreased physical properties.
